our services

At HYLINE Engineers, we keep our clients well informed and confident by ensuring integrity, reliability and attention to detail from project start to finish. As one of the leading providers of Plumbing, Sanitary and Fire Protection Installation Systems, we offer a wide variety of services for all types of building structures which includes the following:

Water Supply
All habitable buildings must have a water supply that is potable (drinkable). That water supply must be protected from contamination, and must not contaminate the water supply system or source. As part of that water supply system, the building must provide appropriate facilities for personal hygiene, and washing utensils, and hot water that is safe and will not cause scalding. All water must discharge to a wastewater system to safeguard people from illness and protect them from odours and waste matter.

Sanitation System
A sanitation system considers all components required for the adequate management of human wastes: the users of the system, the toilet infrastructure, the collection, transport, treatment, and management of end products (human excreta, solid waste, grey water, storm water and industrial wastewater). Each system represents a configuration of different technology components that carry out different processes on specific waste flows and have particular management, operation and maintenance conditions.

Rain Water Harvesting
It is the principle of collecting and using precipitation from a catchments surface. Rain water harvesting is essential because surface water is inadequate to meet our demand and we have to depend on ground water. Due to rapid urbanization, infiltration of rain water into the sub-soil has decreased drastically and recharging of ground water has diminished. There are two main techniques of rain water harvestings i.e. storage of rainwater on surface for future use and recharge to ground water.

Septic System
Septic systems are used when sewage treatment plants are not accessible. They safely treat and dispose of wastewaters produced in the bathroom, kitchen, and laundry. These wastewaters may contain disease-causing germs and pollutants that must be treated to protect human health and the environment. Although septic systems are usually a permanent solution to wastewater treatment and disposal, they sometimes serve as a temporary solution until sewer lines are installed.

External & Internal drainage and Sewers
The sanitary sewer system typically referred to as the “sewer system”, collects and disposes of waste and fluids from the internal plumbing system (toilets, shower, bath, laundry, sinks etc.) of homes or other type of buildings. The storm sewer system typically referred to as the “drainage system”, collects and disposes of the water from outside of the buildings, (roof down spouts, foundation drains, driveways, lawns etc.)

Water Treatment Plant
Water treatment in plumbing involves sewage treatment which is the process of removing contaminants from wastewater and household sewage, both runoff (effluents), domestic, commercial and institutional. It includes physical, chemical, and biological processes to remove physical, chemical and biological contaminants. Its objective is to produce an environmentally safe fluid waste stream (or treated effluent) and a solid waste (or treated sludge) suitable for disposal or reuse (usually as farm fertilizer). Using advanced technology it is now possible to re-use sewage effluent for drinking water

Solar heating System
Active solar heating systems use solar energy to heat a fluid -- either liquid or air -- and then transfer the solar heat directly to the interior space or to a storage system for later use. If the solar system cannot provide adequate space heating, an auxiliary or back-up system provides the additional heat. Liquid systems are more often used when storage is included, and are well suited for radiant heating systems, boilers with hot water radiators, and even pumps and coolers. Both liquid and air systems can supplement forced air systems.

Swimming Pools
Swimming pools use a combination of filtration and chemical treatment to continually clean a large volume of water. A typical swimming pool needs seven major components: basin, motorized pump, water filter, chemical feeder, Drains, Returns, PVC plastic plumbing connecting all of these elements. The basic idea is to pump water in a continual cycle, from the pool through the filtering and chemical treatment systems and back to the pool again. In this way, the pumping system keeps the water in the pool relatively free of dirt, debris and bacteria.

Fire Hydrant System
In a building, a fire hydrant system is a safety measure or emergency equipment required in some buildings that comprises a series of components that when assembled together provide a source of water to assist fire authorities in a fire. Putting it another way, a fire hydrant system is a water supply with a sufficient pressure and flow delivered through pipes throughout a building to strategically located network of valves for fire-fighting purposes.

Fire Sprinkler system
A fire sprinkler is the part of a fire sprinkler system that discharges water when the effects of a fire have been detected, such as when a predetermined temperature has been exceeded. The Fire Sprinkler is also used to control the flow of water. It is essentially a valve that when exposed for a sufficient time to a temperature at or above the temperature rating of the heat (glass bulb or fusible link) releases, allowing water to flow from only the affected sprinkler. The operation and subsequent water flow of an automatic fire sprinkler will lead to a drop in pressure within the fire sprinkler system after the alarm valve

Fire Extinguisher
Portable fire extinguishers are generally provided as "first attack" units in firefighting and should be used only in early stages of fire before the fire grows to a stage that is beyond the capacity of the extinguisher. There are broadly six types of fire extinguisher; Water, Foam, Wet Chemical, Dry Chemical Powder, Vaporizing Liquid and Carbon Dioxide. The selection of an extinguisher must be made with the class of fire in mind.

Fire detection & Alarm System
A Fire Indicator Panel (FIP) is probably best described as the 'brains' of a fire detection and alarm system. The primary purpose of a fire indicator panel is to monitor each circuit, zone or point for any condition (alarm signal or other abnormal condition); display the status of that condition and to operate any required output or outputs according to the approved design of the system. These outputs are typically for the purpose of warning occupants on a fire alarm signal. There are generally two types of fire alarm systems, Conventional and Addressable

Fire Suppression System
Fire Suppression Systems are commonly used on heavy power equipment. Suppression systems use a combination of dry chemicals and/or wet agents to suppress equipment fires. Suppression systems have become a necessity to several industries as they help control damage and loss to equipment. Common means of detection are through heat sensors, wiring, or manual detection (depending on system selection).

Public Address System
A Public Address System is a life safety system installed to safeguard occupants from illness or injury by warning them of a fire or emergency and to safeguard occupants during the orderly evacuation of a building in an emergency. They assist in these two functions by providing mass notification of an emergency and providing a method to communicate with and direct building occupants in the event of an emergency. The occupant warning system can be one of the following i.e. a sound system for emergency purposes designed and installed in accordance with NBC or Electronic sounders or an amplified sound system producing an evacuation signal.
